Fragile Beauty Mended With Gold - Canvas Print

Fragile Beauty Mended With Gold is a ready-to-hang canvas print of a woman's portrait broken into blue and white porcelain shards and rejoined with glowing gold seams. Her calm gaze sits at the centre while cobalt florals and jagged gold lines spread across a deep black background, giving you a quiet, striking focal point the moment you walk into the room.

The mood is reflective rather than loud. Inspired by kintsugi, the idea that what is repaired becomes more beautiful, this print carries a gentle message about resilience while still reading as modern fine art. The dark background makes the blues and golds feel lit from within, so the piece holds attention in daylight and under warm lamps alike.

Hang it above a sofa, behind a bed, at the end of a hallway or in a boutique hotel lounge. It pairs naturally with cream walls, pale oak, black metal and soft neutral textiles, and a few cobalt blue accents such as cushions or ceramics will tie the whole scheme together. Go large if the wall is wide and open, and choose a portrait size that gives the artwork breathing room above furniture.

Printed on artist-grade canvas and stretched over a solid wooden frame, it arrives ready to hang with the hardware fitted. Add the optional premium floating frame in black for a gallery finish that suits the dark background beautifully.
